_module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chattanooga, Tennessee<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To meet the growing need for liquid asphalt in the Chattanooga area, Hudson Materials Company assembled an engineering team to develop their new facility.\u00a0 CivilSmith, LLC provided sub consulting services to concentrate on options for providing rail service to this greenfield site.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CivilSmith worked closely with Croy Engineering to develop initial track layout concepts and ultimately developed detailed track plans that were approved by Norfolk Southern.\u00a0 CivilSmith worked closely with the mechanical engineering team to review the new\u00a0header pipe system&#8217;s clearances to confirm their compliance with NS&#8217;s clearance requirements.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CivilSmith provided track construction specifications, assisted with the bidding process, and provided valuable track construction phase services to include material inspections, responses to RFIs, and construction observation visits with detailed reports.\u00a0 Coordinated with Hudson Materials&#8217;
